• Know, use and understand French – speaking, reading, writing, listening, grammatically and culturally 
• Prepare children to be a global citizen now and in their future roles within a global community  
• Offer a gateway, a thirst to explore the world around us and develop communication, tolerance and key skills  
• Acquired an understanding of both spoken and written French, confidence to speak in French with others and know how important other languages can be in their future. 
• Explore the cultural capital of another country through its language and traditions since over 15% of students are EAL. The program will properly equip children in transition to pursue languages at KS3 and beyond. 

French Conversationl Skills
Conversational skills are key to all lessons in Bessacarr as they are a chance to put our learning into action! It's good fun and a great chance to practise!

Phonics

In order to perfect our pronounciation, we always include a phonics part within our lessons. This helps us when reading, spelling and saying our french!
